”いろは歌” Iroha Uta ( an old Japanese folk song written by unknown person)
The world of colour such as flower gives a lovely scent but always be gone.
Like so, me always being not forever
Go beyond the mountain of efficiency and possession
Without being in a shallow dream nor getting drunk.
This song is called 'Mu-jo-ge', which means verses of impermanence, in the 'Nirvana sutra' .
It says that all the numberless events and appearances have no permanence, that is equal to the 'law of the Dharma, the law of coming and going at the same time itself',
all arises upon dependent arising, in Japanese, 'En',
nothing remains same and forever and that its moving functioning itself is the Dharma.
This is therefore, the Buddha nature itself, that is to say, the reality nature of human.
'I am ' or 'self' is the only idea you grab that has become a concept or the way of your thinking.
Baby has no self.
They are the Buddha, Nirvana itself.
Yet, they have no awareness of it, which causes unfortunately the story of becoming 'self' from the way of their thinkings.
Whereas adults have an ability to become aware of their own Buddhahood nature, which is Kan-Ji-Zai, the vast freedom.
By only dependent arising, there is for any one a possibility to get out from the cycle of the way of your thinking.
That is the whole point of the Dharma talk live, in Japanese we call it, Sho-Mon, hearing a voice without self,without the way of your thinking.
